Michael Powell

Title

General Manager

Michael Powell is the General Manager at Hayfields. He oversees the entire operations to provide a first-class experience across all service offerings. Mike has been with Hayfields since 2020 and spent the previous 15 years at Turf Valley Resort, a sister property, as the Food and Beverage Director. Mike has a passion for taking care of people, from members to his employees. He is very proud of the property – its family-owned roots and instills the same values in his team. Mike has challenged himself to go above and beyond by continually elevating service levels and creating operational efficiencies across all departments. He loves a challenge and is encouraged to take something good and make it even better. Outside of work, Mike enjoys spending time with his family and sharing his love of sports with his young son.

Erick Brock

Title

PGA Head Professional

Erick Brock is the PGA Head Professional at Hayfields. Erick is responsible for the golf operations related to daily play, member satisfaction, golf tournaments and retail merchandise. Though new to Hayfields, Erick’s career spans 26 years in the golf industry. He has spent his profession learning from other golf professionals and brings the culmination of his experience to Hayfields. Erick’s role will focus on providing exceptional level of service to all members and guests. He is privileged to serve as the Club’s golf pro to demonstrate his knowledge and share the beauty of the golf course and campus. Erick is a graduate of Methodist University with a degree in Business Administration with a Concentration in Golf Management.

Jennifer Diliberto

Jennifer Diliberto joined Hayfields recently in 2021 as Membership Director. Jennifer held a similar position for the past three years at another local country club. Jennifer’s warm and engaging personality is very hospitality-focused making members and guests always feel welcome and comfortable at Hayfields. Originally from Rochester, NY, Jennifer’s professional background has been with CBS Television and Radio advertising sales before moving into her current dream position of Membership Director at Hayfields. Jennifer looks forward to representing the beauty, culture, and history of Hayfields with the community. Jennifer lives in nearby Parkton with her husband and enjoys spending time playing golf, entertaining, and traveling.

Charlie Ulevich

Title

Director of Grounds

Charlie is the Director of Grounds at Hayfields and Turf Valley Resort, a sister property with two golf courses. He oversees the management and logistics of the entire Golf Course Maintenance Department. Charlie began with Hayfields in 1997 when the construction of the golf course began. In 2000, he was promoted to oversee the golf course departments at both properties. Charlie’s professional dream of being the Owner’s Representative and Superintendent of the construction and renovation of the golf courses has been fulfilled at the properties. The opportunity to work in the golf industry as a Director for a premier golf course such as Hayfields is an honor for Charlie. Charlie has a degree in Turf Management from Penn State University.

Bryan Kelbaugh

Title

Superintendent

Bryan is the Superintendent at Hayfields Country Club. Bryan oversees maintenance of the golf course and grounds throughout the club. He supervises a team of personnel to ensure the golf course is continually maintained to optimal levels. Brian was hired in 1998 as the Assistant Superintendent and was promoted to Superintendent in 2003. Bryan takes pride in preserving the beauty of the golf course and historical grounds at Hayfields and believes there is no better place to watch the sun rise than on the golf course. Bryan is a graduate of the University of Maryland. He is a father of five and an avid sports fan cheering on his favorite Maryland teams.

Mary Ann Giangrasso

Title

Controller

Mary Ann is the Controller at Hayfields and oversees all accounting processes for the club. She is responsible for the payroll, accounts receivable, accounts payable and compliance. Mary Ann has served in the Accounting role at Hayfields since 2004. Her attention to detail and organization has been integral in maintaining the financial integrity of Hayfields. Mary Ann enjoys coming to work each day to appreciate the beauty of the property.

John Corey

Title

Director of Property Operations

John Corey is the Director of Property Operations at Hayfields. He is responsible for maintaining and repairing all buildings and outdoor structures on the property. John started at Hayfields in 2007 and is quite busy maintaining a property dating back to the late 1700’s. John prides himself on being able to fix anything that needs repaired and is grateful for the opportunity to work at a beautiful location.

Victoria Smith

Clubhouse Manager

Victoria joined the Hayfields team in 2020 as the Clubhouse Manager. Her responsibilities include overseeing the food and beverage operations and enhancing the member experience. Prior to Hayfields, Victoria was the Food and Beverage Manager at Turf Valley Resort, coordinating private events. Victoria is a natural in the hospitality industry. Her goal is to create a fun and lively atmosphere focused on the dining and social aspects of the club. Victoria is excited to be part of the Hayfields team and work to ensure each member has a positive experience each time they visit. Victoria earned her degree in Hospitality & Tourism Management from The College of Charleston.

Brittany Deitrich

Events Sales and Marketing Manager

Brittany is a new addition to the Hayfields team. She is responsible for the sales and coordination of banquet events and weddings. She also provides marketing support for The Club including the bi-monthly newsletter and event flyers. Brittany has spent her career working in the hospitality industry and is able to build an instant connection with people. It has been an exciting opportunity for Brittany to be an integral part of the event process. From the initial meeting with a guest to the culmination of the event, Brittany is honored to be a part of these special occasions and witness the joy that they bring.

Brandon Pomerson

Executive Chef

Brandon began his role as Executive Chef at Hayfields in May of 2021. Brandon brings more than 20 years of experience in the culinary industry, most recently as Executive Sous Chef at the Elkridge Club. Brandon’s focus as Executive Chef is to oversee the culinary department include leading and mentoring the culinary team. Brandon likes learning as a team to stay current with new trends and deliver the best experience for the members. Brandon focuses on the comfort aspect of food to evoke special memories and create an unforgettable dining experience. His dishes often feature simple and traditional foods with a modern twist. He takes pride in applying his culinary skills to develop seasonal specials that highlight key ingredients at their peak.
