Name

Michael Powell

Title

General Manager

Michael Powell is the General Manager at Hayfields. He oversees the entire operations to provide a first-class experience across all service offerings. Mike has been with Hayfields since 2020 and spent the previous 15 years at Turf Valley Resort, a sister property, as the Food and Beverage Director. Mike has a passion for taking care of people, from members to his employees. He is very proud of the property – its family-owned roots and instills the same values in his team. Mike has challenged himself to go above and beyond by continually elevating service levels and creating operational efficiencies across all departments. He loves a challenge and is encouraged to take something good and make it even better. Outside of work, Mike enjoys spending time with his family and sharing his love of sports with his young son.

Erick Brock

Title

PGA Head Professional

Erick Brock is the PGA Head Professional at Hayfields. Erick is responsible for the golf operations related to daily play, member satisfaction, golf tournaments and retail merchandise. Though new to Hayfields, Erick’s career spans 26 years in the golf industry. He has spent his profession learning from other golf professionals and brings the culmination of his experience to Hayfields. Erick’s role will focus on providing exceptional level of service to all members and guests. He is privileged to serve as the Club’s golf pro to demonstrate his knowledge and share the beauty of the golf course and campus. Erick is a graduate of Methodist University with a degree in Business Administration with a Concentration in Golf Management.

Jennifer Diliberto

Jennifer Diliberto joined Hayfields recently in 2021 as Membership Director. Jennifer held a similar position for the past three years at another local country club. Jennifer’s warm and engaging personality is very hospitality-focused making members and guests always feel welcome and comfortable at Hayfields. Originally from Rochester, NY, Jennifer’s professional background has been with CBS Television and Radio advertising sales before moving into her current dream position of Membership Director at Hayfields. Jennifer looks forward to representing the beauty, culture, and history of Hayfields with the community. Jennifer lives in nearby Parkton with her husband and enjoys spending time playing golf, entertaining, and traveling.

Charlie Ulevich

Title

Director of Grounds

Charlie is the Director of Grounds at Hayfields and Turf Valley Resort, a sister property with two golf courses. He oversees the management and logistics of the entire Golf Course Maintenance Department. Charlie began with Hayfields in 1997 when the construction of the golf course began. In 2000, he was promoted to oversee the golf course departments at both properties. Charlie’s professional dream of being the Owner’s Representative and Superintendent of the construction and renovation of the golf courses has been fulfilled at the properties. The opportunity to work in the golf industry as a Director for a premier golf course such as Hayfields is an honor for Charlie. Charlie has a degree in Turf Management from Penn State University.

Bryan Kelbaugh

Title

Superintendent

Bryan is the Superintendent at Hayfields Country Club. Bryan oversees maintenance of the golf course and grounds throughout the club. He supervises a team of personnel to ensure the golf course is continually maintained to optimal levels. Brian was hired in 1998 as the Assistant Superintendent and was promoted to Superintendent in 2003. Bryan takes pride in preserving the beauty of the golf course and historical grounds at Hayfields and believes there is no better place to watch the sun rise than on the golf course. Bryan is a graduate of the University of Maryland. He is a father of three and an avid sports fan cheering on his favorite Maryland teams.

Rachael Leicht

Title

Accounting Manager

Rachael specializes in Accounting; ensuring that our book keeping for the club is complete and accurate. Rachael loves interacting with members when she has the opportunity to. She has a true passion for accounting, so much that she could do it "All day, every day!" She is currently working to become a Certified Public Accountant because she wants to "be the best at what I do and learn as much as possible as I can." Rachael loves the outdoors and kayaking!

Brittany Deitrich

Title

Events Sales and Marketing Manager

Brittany is a new addition to the Hayfields team. She is responsible for the sales and coordination of banquet events and weddings. She also provides marketing support for The Club including the bi-monthly newsletter and event flyers. Brittany has spent her career working in the hospitality industry and is able to build an instant connection with people. It has been an exciting opportunity for Brittany to be an integral part of the event process. From the initial meeting with a guest to the culmination of the event, Brittany is honored to be a part of these special occasions and witness the joy that they bring.

Eric Grimm

Title

Executive Chef

Eric Grimm began his role as Executive Chef at Hayfields in November 2022 and brings over 18 years of experience in the club setting. Eric enjoys interacting with the members and getting to know their preferences, so that he can tailor his menus accordingly. Eric pushes the envelope with your traditional comfort dishes by evolving them with modern techniques and flavor profiles. Eric’s current favorite menu item is the Coffee Rubbed Hangar Steak, where he implements coffee grinds to not only tenderize the steak, as well as amplify the flavor.
