Nestled in the heart of Hunt Valley, Maryland, Hayfields Country Club offers a timeless feel. The centerpiece of the club is The Mansion, more than 200 years old. Connected to The Mansion is an addition that forms the Hayfields Clubhouse. The main level of this addition includes the Clubhouse Entrance, The Ballroom and the Tankard Lounge and Bar.
 
Our largest event space is The Ballroom, which can hold up to 168 people. For smaller events, The Ballroom can be separated into The Vista Room and The Fireside Room. We also offer options for more intimate gatherings or meetings in the Mansion Rooms or Mezzanine, located above The Ballroom. 

At Hayfields, our staff are experts at hosting events. All catering is provided onsite and coordinated by our private chef and banquets team who will oversee the setup of your event. Although Hayfields Country Club is private, membership is not required to host a private function at the Club.

The Ballroom

The Ballroom presents a beautiful venue for wedding receptions and special events. It can accommodate a maximum of 168 guests. 
 
The space includes a recessed bar, stone fireplace and outdoor patio for guests to gather. The wooden beams and chandeliers grace the high ceilings which highlight a spacious hardwood dance floor. From any viewpoint, guests can overlook the historic property through a wall of glass doors.

The Mansion Dining Rooms

Charm and old-world feel are prominent in The Mansion rooms giving each guest the opportunity to step back in time.

The Mansion features three distinct rooms that can be used for dinner, cocktails or a small reception. During the winter months, The Mansion serves as an additional dining space for our members.  
 

Vista Room

The Vista Room is part of The Ballroom. It can be partitioned into its own unique space to accommodate up to 32 guests. 

The Vista Room is a great area for a small reception, dinner gathering or a business meeting. It features the adjoining Vista Patio with ample space to dine outdoors.

Fireside Room

The Fireside Room is part of The Ballroom. It can be separated into its own space and provides the ideal setting for a cocktail hour or wedding.

It includes a private bar and fireplace with access to the dance floor. The Fireside Room can comfortably hold up to 120 guests. 

Garden Patio

Surrounded by beautiful landscaping, the paved patio is an elegant location for an outdoor wedding ceremony, cocktail hour or special event. Guests are treated to some of the most scenic views on the property in addition to Hayfield’s stunning sunsets.

All necessary rentals such as chairs, tents and décor are the responsibility of the guests renting the space.  

 

Vista Patio

The Vista Patio is an additional outdoor space. The Vista Patio can be accessed from The Vista Room or the Clubhouse Entrance. It can be used as an outdoor dining space or cocktail area.

The patio overlooks the golf course and provides a beautiful view of Oregon Ridge.
